Overview

By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS authentication with Bookchoy, you consent to receive text messages from us solely for the purpose of verifying your identity and securing your account.

Types of Messages

You will only receive SMS messages containing one-time verification codes for:

Account login and authentication
Account recovery

We will never send marketing, promotional, or any other non-authentication messages to your phone number.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your login activity. You will receive one SMS per authentication attempt. No recurring or scheduled messages will be sent.

Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS authentication at any time by switching to email-based authentication in your account settings. Once you opt out, you will no longer receive any SMS messages from us. You may also contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

No Sharing with Third Parties

Your phone number and opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is shared only with our authentication provider (Supabase) for the sole purpose of delivering verification codes.
